Synopsis:

At work, as a firefighter, Capt. Caleb Holt lives by the fireman's motto: Never leave your partner behind. At home, he lives as he chooses. Growing up, Catherine Holt always dreamed of marrying a loving, brave firefighter .just like her father. Now, after seven years of being married to Caleb, Catherine wonders when she stopped being "good enough" for her husband.

They argue about jobs, money, housework and outside interests are readying them both to move on to something with new and more exciting.

As Caleb and Catherine prepare to start their divorce, Caleb's father challenges his son to commit to a 40-day experiment: "The Love Dare." Wondering if it's even worth anything, Caleb agrees, more for his father's sake than anything else. He finds out that the book's daily challenges can somehow be traced to his parents' newfound faith, he seems to lose interest altogether.

While trying to stick to the experiment, Caleb becomes frustrated over and over agian. He finally asks his father, "How am I supposed to show love to somebody who constantly rejects me?" When his father explains that this is how Christ has loved us, Caleb makes a life-changing decision to love God. And with this new faith, he begins to understand what it means to truly love his wife.

Review:

Today, we live in a time where everything has an escape of sorts. All our discomforts, whether it is in a relationships or plans in life, we resort to something that at some point, is offensive to God. Divorce is not a solution when marriage problems happen. Only God knows best. What God has bound, no one can separate. The movie is a must watch,  especially, for those who are in a relationship and want to get married soon. I just watched this movie and I can't get this great movie. I'm amazed how Jesus Christ truly works in our life, especially in our relationships.
